Visit Namur
Namur is the capital city of the Wallonia region of Belgium. Namur's location at the head of the Ardennes has made it a popular tourist centre. At the confluence of the Meuse and Sambre rivers stands the Citadel, a medieval fortress with 7km of underground passages, gardens, and breathtaking views. Namur also has a distinctive 18th-century cathedral dedicated to Saint Aubain and a belfry classified by UNESCO as part of the Belfries of Belgium and France which are listed as a World Heritage Site. It has a casino in its southern district on the left bank of the Meuse.
