Abstract submission and posters
The programme will be organized based on the 4 topics of bePOM, which will match the 4 sessions.
Please select the suitable topic according to your session of interest.
The bePOM aims at gathering Belgian researchers working in the field of optics and photonics. We thus require speakers to be affiliated to at least one Belgian institution.
SUBMISSION
To submit an abstract for a poster or a contributed talk, please use the abstract template.

Deadline for CONTRIBUTED TALK and POSTER abstract submission: 1st September 2025

Deadline for REGISTRATION: 12th September 2025
Notification of acceptance: before 10th September 2025.
ALL POSTERS in .jpg or .png format are due on 14 September 2025 before 6:00pm.
CONTRIBUTED TALKS
Contributed talks will be selected by members of the scientific committee based on the abstract. Talks are due to last 12 minutes + 3 minutes Q&A.
POSTERS
An example of poster template is available. However, its use is not mandatory.
Poster session will be held on-site at VUB
AWARDS
Prizes for the best presentations are offered by our sponsors: IOP and Optica.
The IOP prizes will reward the best three contributed talks with €300, €200 and €100, respectively. The selection will be made by the technical committee based on the quality of the work being presented and on the quality of the presentation.
The Optica prizes will reward the best poster presentations according to an independent jury and according to the other participants to the conference. For the jury prize, the quality of the work, of the poster and of the presentation by the author will be evaluated, and a prize of 200€ will be attributed to the winner.
Best poster prize from the public. In parallel, each participant will have the opportunity to vote for his/her favorite poster directly on the GatherTown platform. The winner will receive a prize of €100.
The winners will be announced during the closing ceremony.
